jpmono.com is committed to making its content accessible to the widest possible audience, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation or magnification.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidance and the European Accessibility Act.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and a single main heading per page
- A “skip to content” link on every page for keyboard users
- Text alternatives (
alt) on informative images; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them - Labels on all form fields and accessible names (
aria-label) on icon-only buttons - Carousels and interactive components carry ARIA roles and states, and are keyboard-operable
- The document language is declared on every page (English here, French on our French edition) so screen readers use correct pronunciation
- Responsive layout that supports zoom up to 200% without loss of content
Known limitations
- Product photographs sourced from retailer listings may have generic alternative text
- Some archival articles may not yet meet every criterion; we fix issues as we find them
- Embedded third-party content (e.g. retailer widgets) may not be fully accessible; we cannot always control it
Found a problem? If any part of this site is difficult to use with assistive technology, please tell us via the contact page. Include the page address and a short description. We aim to respond within 5 business days and to fix confirmed issues promptly.
